Jacobs Technology Inc. (www.jacobstechnology.com) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jacobs Engineering (www.jacobs.com), one of the world's largest technical services companies with revenues in excess of nine billion dollars. (JT) is roughly twenty percent (10,000+ employees) of the Jacobs workforce and provides advanced technology services to a wide range of government and industry clients in five core competencies: Technical Facilities Operations & Maintenance, Test Engineering & Science, Program Acquisition Engineering & Technical Support, Facility Design and Build, and Enterprise Information Systems.

The Jacobs Technology Group (TG) is roughly ten percent of the JT workforce and roughly one-third of TG focuses on designing and building technical and test facilities. TG developed Test SLATE as a project cost and risk mitigation tool, creating a universal software package that eliminated repetitive software development activities and could be applied to most testing applications.

TG also designs and assembles complete measurement and control systems in our 26,000 square foot development lab. Here, engineers, technicians, and software developers integrate hardware and software from a multitude of suppliers to a fully functional and tested state prior to shipment for on-site installation. This team of approximately forty designers and developers, with expertise in measurement and control, is complemented by dozens of engineers and designers specializing in mechanisms, mechanical process systems, structures, fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and construction management. Approximately 200 employees located in our Tullahoma, TN and Southfield, MI offices make up the TG team responsible for the design and development of test facilities for a multitude of clients.
